नीले अम्बर के पास
पर्वत की शिखरों पे,
वीरान जंगलो में,
कड़कती धुप में,
गम के अँधेरे में गुम हैं ,उदास हैं ।
ऐसा लगे, जैसे नीले अम्बर के पास हैं ।
दोस्त न साथी कोई ,
बैठे प्यार के इंतजार में,
कहीं सुखी पड़ी धरती ,
लगी अम्बु की प्यास है।
गुम हैं उदास हैं,
ऐसा लगे, जैसे नीले अम्बर के पास है।
दिन ढ़ला, सुरज छूपा बादलों में,
अब म्यूख भी लुप्त होने को है।
फिर भी साथी मिलने की आस है ।
गुम हैं, उदास हैं ,
ऐसा लगे , जैसे नीले अम्बर के पास हैं ।

On the summits of the mountains,
in the deserted forests,
in the scorching sun,
in the darkness of sorrow, are sad.
Looks like such as blue near sky has it.
No friend, no companion,
sitting waiting for love,
somewhere there is a dry land,
is thirsty for water.

निळ्या अंबर जवळ
पर्वतांच्या शिखरावर,
निर्जन जंगलात,
कडक उन्हात,
दु:खाच्या अंधारात ते दुःखी आहेत।
निळा अंबर आहे असे दिसते।
मित्र नाही, सोबती नाही,
प्रेमाची वाट पाहत बसला आहे,
कुठेतरी कोरडी जमीन आहे,
अंबु तहानलेला आहे।
गहाळ उदास,
निळा अंबर आहे असे दिसते।
दिवस मावळला,
सूर्य ढगांमध्ये लपला,
आता तोंडही नाहीसे होणार आहे।
तरीही जोडीदार मिळण्याची आशा आहे।
गहाळ, दुःखी,
निळा अंबर आहे असे दिसते।
